I am looking to buy a 3/4 ton truck to pull my toys to and from shows and pulls.Right now I am using a 1/2 ton Chevrolet and it does ok but I don't want to tear it up pulling the guts out of it.It's going to have to be used(can't afford a new one)and high miles are not a problem.I have driven a couple of Cummins and A Powerstroke or two.I like them both but,I have heard that if the injector pump goes out on either that I will need a good banker to fix it.I take good care of my truck so which one holds up better if cared for and not abused?Which one will do better on a long hill loaded? And also, which one has better fuel mileage? Some of you don't come down on me too hard because I just don't know about them because I have never had either.A DuraMax is not an option right now because of them being too new and too expensive.Maybe when they start getting some age and miles I will be able to afford one.Just some truthful advice needed please and thanks.
