Just getting started.

To the Pros,
I have admired antique tractors for a long time. I now have the means and interest in tractor restoration. I don't know a whole lot about the tools, systems, and work that I will be getting myself into, but I am a fast learner and want to do so. Can anyone recommend a tractor that has systems most suitable for a rookie? It seems to be most logical that the older the tractor, the least complex it will be. Any input would be appreciated.

If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution.
