One job I like to do with the tractor is to mow the road ditchs, and trim around the yard, but seems like I always hit something with the sickle mower and knock out a blade or drop the wheel in a small ditch which scares the out of me. This year I have knocked out 4 knives, broke the pitman stick, and took out 2 guards, just about got stuck in a washout in the road ditch. Maybe a rotary mow would help, but you cant stick it out over the edge of the road unless it is like the county or state has to do the roads. This year the county is not mowing the road banks because of lack of tax dollars, or help dont know which.
