Unmowed ditches are dangerous.I can remember when a boy came out of an unmowed ditch and got hit in the face by a side mirror.The woman driving the car was in bad shape, crying un controlably.This wouldnt have happened if the ditch had been mowed on time.We have some deep drainage ditches here,I have pulled a few cars out of them.Some weeds block vision at intersections and drive ways.Mowing is must...Planted hedges are bad also.A girl was killed when a hedge blocked her view.We complained for years because dump trucks popped out from behind that hedge.The new owners of the property cut the hedge down.Too many drivers are running stop signs here.Money spent mowing ditches can be replaced .A lost life is gone forever.
