OT: anybody been busted for trespassing

The reason I ask is that I was riding my ATV through a field earlier today, (about 100acres or so) and I saw a small sign on a tree that says "No hunting or trespassing- violators will be prosecuted" I dont know of anybody who has been busted for trespassing. The guy who owns the field I was riding on lives out of state and the guy who grows feed corn on the field in the summer lives about 3 miles away. I could see getting busted for hunting on land that you dont have permission to hunt on but how serious is ATV riding, trespassing.
