I feel some of this problem is caused by closing many riding areas to atv. I know several areas of public, land, no good for anything, closed. Yet horses are far more welcome. Yes , they cause erosion too. BUt not as bad. Public dollars support riding areas for horses, golf courses, tennis courts. But all the hate for atv?. Ky has an excellent riding area for atv at the land between the lakes. Other states and areas should take notice.
