Hello Everyone, Well I just brought home a 460 farmall today. It is sure alot different than the M I have already. I do have some questions though. I was told it had power steering but it doesn't. So if there a place to check for fluid for the power steering? If so what kind of fluid does it use. Also on the right side of the dash console there is 3 levers. From what I can determine the 1st two must be for 2 remotes hydraulic outlets. One under the battery area and one at the rear of the tractor. All I hear is a whining noise when I move them. The there is a 3rd on the end of the 2 that raises up the 2pt. Am I correct about the levers? Also where is the fluid for those at and do you just use reg. hydraulic fluid or hy-trans or? How hard is it to cover the 2pt fast hitch to use 3pt stuff? Also does the 2pt have down pressure or only lift? Now I have read that the 460 is rated at 1850rpms. What does that mean? Can you run it faster than 1850? I also see that the guage has a 540 pto symbol on it. Do you run PTO stuff at that RPM? I am in the process of ordering a 460 manual for it so I have some idea. But does anyone have a good 460 info site and also serial number splits for what years. It also has a farmhand loader that used a PTO pump for running the loader. Sorry for all the questions and thanks for all your help. Mark

You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
