I was told it had power steering but it doesn't. It does have PS, it just isn't working. There is probably an issue with Hyd pressure going from a diverter (wrong term, right idea) to the PS. So if there a place to check for fluid for the power steering? No, uses the tractors Hyd Fluid. Hytran, or any other high quality Brand name Hydraulic fluid, Drain and fill recommended. Also on the right side of the dash console there is 3 levers. From what I can determine the 1st two must be for 2 remotes hydraulic outlets. One under the battery area and one at the rear of the tractor. All I hear is a whining noise when I move them. Don't do that for more than a few seconds, it is dead headinng the hyd system. It does indicate that things are probably OK in the pump and levers. The there is a 3rd on the end of the 2 that raises up the 2pt. Am I correct about the levers? YES Also where is the fluid for those at and do you (do not know on that model) How hard is it to cover the 2pt fast hitch to use 3pt stuff? Not hard kits are available. See archives for Info. Kits are on this site and others. Also does the 2pt have down pressure or only lift? Down if a pin is inserted in the linkage. Now I have read that the 460 is rated at 1850rpms. What does that mean? It means that when wide open, and loaded down to 1850 on the tach, it is making all of the power it can. (assuming no engine performance modifications, or governor changes) Good luck I hope I helped some, JimN Can you run it faster than 1850? I also see that the guage has a 540 pto symbol on it. Do you run PTO stuff at that RPM?

Examine the porcelain insulator and points. If the insulator appears to be melted or blistered, cracked or broken, and the points seem unduly burned it is evident that the plug is operating too hot and it should be replaced with a colder plug. If the plug is fouled excessively with carbon it apparently is operating too cold and it should be replac
