36 Volt Batteries on their way ???

Read an interesting article in the local rag here the other day. It was about the high electrical demands of today's automobiles. For example, there is more computing processing capacity in a new car than in the first lunar landing module. Hard to believe but that's what it said. Anyways, one solution is a stronger electrical system. The one that is apparently in the works is a 36 volt battery (42 charging volts at the alternator) that is supposedly on the horizon, say within the next 10 years or so. Now I know that a lot of this stuff is hogwash, but just thought I'd pass it on. I guess we'll see some postings on the forum like "How do I convert my 12 volt tractor to 36 volts"? Now that would be funny!
