I have the Norton Internet Security 2008 and the problem I�m having with this software is when ever I go on line it starts running live updates. In the mean time while it�s running the updates my PC slows down (considerably) at times it even freezes up. I have turned off the live updates and it still runs live updates. Seems to run a lot of updates all the time. My last Norton protection before the 2008 it would alert me first that I had updates to download. I have high-speed Internet running Window�s XP. Is there better antivirous software to buy that doesn�t slow your computer down? I�m sure open for suggestions. Thanks, Mike
