I needed to replace my toilet leaking flush valve. I am looking at the valves, lots of choices for around 10.00 to 30.00. I couldn't find my valve. I found the only worker in the plumbing dept. She said she will be right over. Here we go. In a few minutes she shows up. I tried to explain with my best description of the part I needed. She says You have a Kohler toilet valve. and says why don't you just replace the rubber seal on the valve cylinder bottom, and grabs a seal off the shelf, and explains how to take it apart.
