I have three kohler toilets, and have had to replace that gasket on two toilets already in only 3 years. It's an easy and cheap fix but the flush valve parts are exclusive to kohler. One thing I hate is not having the ability to raise the water level in the tank, like most new toilets, they do not flush real well. I haven't tried yet but I think the only way would be to raise the height of that flush valve cylinder with a piece of pvc or hose.
