I recently bought a NH 352 Grinder/Mixer at a sale. I have been going over it, servicing it and so forth, I noticed the top bearing support on the vertical mixing auger was pretty weak and appeared to have been damaged by the salt mixed into the feed over the years. It was weak and bent upwards slightly. I have bought a new support from my dealer and now have it installed. What I notice now is that the shaft on the auger does not completly protrude through the bearing. It seems as though the auger is dropped down about 1/2" to 3/4". Does anyone have one of these that could help me determine what needs to be done here? I have not tried to run it this way and do not know if this is normal or not. It does not seem right to me. Thanks! Richard
