The bearing support is attached to the top. There was no locking collar above the bearing. My parts manual does not show a lock collar above the bearing. After looking at the top of the grinder I can see it may be bent slightly upward. Someone may have put an excessive amount in the mixer and bent it. Now the question is how to get it back down. I don't know weather this is enough to make the differance or not. The other thing I was wondering if it could be possible for my auger to have sliped downward. Anybody else care to weigh in on this or have a New Holland grinder that could lend some thought?
