Has anybody on here made their own fenders for there tractors? I want to make my own for a Farmall 460. This is a WORKING tractor, I just want something there to keep me away from the wheel and hang lights from. For me it doesn't make sense to spend a couple of hundered bucks for the right fenders when I have a bunch of sheets of 16 gauge sheetmetal I got for free. Did you use angle, tubing, or what for ends and support braces? I will however, primer then paint it red, but will it stick to galvnalized? I am planning to make it a "flat-top" looking fender, so I don't have to bend and curve it much. Any ideas apreciated.
