Hi, Adam, good idea on the fenders! Far as bracing and such goes, flat stock or angle should do fine, something like three eights by two inch. also depends on what is available. Bought a WD9, back when, that the old boy that owned it, extended the fenders with a twelve inch wide piece of sheet stock, he edged them with half inch cold roll. Several people asked when the 9's came out with flat fenders! As far as being "Mickey Mouse", that all depends on the effort put into the job, and as far as being too big a job, maybe, just maybe, some of us enjoy doing this, because we can. [there, now I can get down off my soap box]. just ranting.... R.E.L.
