I'm not having any luck connecting my DVD/VCR to my new HDTV. I connected it the way the TV owners manual said, but it will only play the DVD connected that way, and not the VCR. When I try to connect it the way the DVD/VCR manual says in order to get VCR function,I can't get any output through the TV...not on TV, not on VIDEO function, not on COMPONENT function. I don't have any HDMI connectors on the DVD/VCR unit, so I can't try to connect it that way.
The DVD/VCR unit is a Phillips DVP3340V17, and the TV is a Sylvania LC321SSX LCD screen HDTV.
Had anyone else ever encountered this problem...and if so, what did you do about it? I need an answer fast, because my wife wants to record a program on Tuesday night. And helpful answers will be greatly appreciated.
