I'm in the wrong house to look, but I got a DVR/VCR to do what you want to do - antennea also. It will record from the antennea to the DVR with some success.
I'm thinking you will have a tough time recording with what you have - unless you go through a converter box. So you can only record from one channel - no one there to change channels in between.
They don't like recording HD onto VHS; your unit doesn't have a tuner I'm guessing; thank Hollywood for threatening lawsuits against anyone who makes a real, working TV recording unit any more. All they allow is Tivo type stuff that is all internal & controlled. Japan has wonderful Bluray recorders that work great. Not allowed here.
