Took cash and a trailer and drove to the location of the tractor, checked it out, haggled, paid for it, loaded it on the trailer and came home.

Anything less is just asking for a heartache. Never know. Even if the guy is legit, a picture doesn't show you what sittin in it and going thru the paces does.
