Hello, after having problems with my buttercup squash I got to reading in to ways to get rid of the bugs, and one suggestion was to plant caster beans in amung them to naturally keep cucumber beetles away. I hadn't heard of caster beans before so I did a search on them to find out what they were used for, and found that they are very poisionous to humans, and also contain ricin. I'm wondering if these plants are even safe to grow or if they put stuff in the air that would be harmful to breath?. I see they are used to make oil, but what kind of oil, what is this oil used for?. thanks in advance!.
