As well as rhubarb leaves, and many other things in the garden. Apple seeds contain a poison. On the other hand, dad especially, & me too, have eaten a whole lot of peach pits. They have a good bitter taste. Mom always ate the apple seeds along with her apple. Only receintly have I heard these things aren't supposed to be good for one. My neighbors with the dairy farms have 20-40 healthy cats with their bucket of milk a day to live on, while the vets say it's bad for them. My farm dog, only one to live into his teens after gettting parvo & all sorts of things he wasn't supposed to survive had a real sweet tooth for chocolate - we never heard it was bad for him until he was long gone from old age. Sorry for my ramblings. There has to be some intersting cross-thinking on pesticides & man-made chemicals, but far too off-topic. :) --->Paul
