O.T. How much for a 93 Chev 1 Ton

How much would you consider to be a fair price for this pickup? It's a 93 Ext Cab Dually with 159,000 miles and a diesel engine with automatic transmission. There appears to be a few scratches and dings, but it looks to be in very good shape. Have noticed it had a for sale sign on it for several months and spoke with the owner today. The asking price is $8,000. Not sure, but seems a little high. Any inputs about it and the average price would be appreciated. Thanks,
