A Willys Jeep with a PTO?

Today when looking around one of my local tractor yards, I spotted a Willys Jeep. Nothing special and a real project. I was surprised when looking at the back there was a PTO. It appears to be factory installed since there is a separate lever on the floor for it. Either that or it was a very well done modification. Does anyone have knowledge of these options on the Jeeps (if it is an option)? Is there any data on these as far as HP? I would imagine that would be dependant on the engine of course and would like to see one of these under the 8 cyl conversion. I know a 350 cid works well in these with the right conversion kit. Thanks
