Not a tractor?? Maybe not but the old Jeeps were quite unique. As indicated, available optional equipment was almost legion: belt pulleys, front windless, cyclebar mowers, etc, etc, etc, . Willys really tried to promote them as a tractor “alternate”. I have an owners manual for the 1948 CJ2A & it is loaded with charts & data for such things as fuel consumption, torque & horsepower curves, drawbar pull/speed, power take off & pulley data, again etc, etc, etc. Even has instructions on how to plow a field with 2-12s or 14s. I remember an older, retired farmer some 50+ years ago had one as his “toy”. Used it to help where he could as in disking, harrowing, hauling hay, also etc.! His best use for it was to run the 5 miles or so to town for parts, supplies and the daily ‘barley pops’. BTW- The old "Go Devel" 4 banger produced 105ftlb torque @ 2000rpm, 60hp @ 3600rpm.
