I am building a 32' X 40'. I want to have a concrete floor poured; however, I am not sure that I want to spend the $ to have the entire floor done. I am considering pouring a 10' X 20' pad for my work area and putting in crushed stone in the rest of the building. What type of floor do you have and what do you recommend? What about up keep, etc. if I go with the stone? Can the stone be compacted so that I have a firm floor? Thanks.
