When I built my barn, (48 X 60) I wanted to let the ground settle for a year or so. I had the stones in. Everything I had in there got rusty on the bottom. If you wanted to do some other job when your work bay was full, you would have to work on the stones. Ever try to push or pull a jack accross stone? I agree, do it all with concrete now. Be sure to lay heavy plastic down on the stones first to eliminate moisture coming up thru the concrete.
