Farmall Cub Stuck Drive Train

I was driving my 1951 Farmall cub and all of a sudden it locked up. The transmission remains free as I can place it in neutral and release the clutch. However, when I place it in any gear and then release the clutch it immediately dies...will not even roll but a few inches. Something has locked internally to the drive train. When I get off the tractor and roll it back and forth by hand, by pushing the tires, it moves just a few inches forward or backward.

Can anyone provide any ideas before I blindly start tearing into this thing? Where should I start?
