Truck my vote is with you, I remember years ago I had a 1951 Ford car and it would get in two gears at once and i would have to raise the hood and move one of the shifting rods, it was caused by a worn steel ball with a pressure spring behind it,in the plate on the side of the transmission.I believe that he has wear on the shifting forks.
