In the early sixties a guy could buy a Ford 2000/4000 from any local Ford tractor dealer. Where and how did you buy a new 2000 Dexta or 5000 Major built in England at that same time period? Did they get sold at the same dealer and you picked which one you wanted? Were the English built cheaper in price then the American models? I saw many Dextas and Majors in my area, but never knew anyone who bought one new. Dad bought our first new Ford in '66 . I was a kid so I didn't pay any attention to what was available. Al
