I have to take exception to your rather brash statement about Chrysler not being able to build a transmission. Chrysler builds an excellent automatic trans. The problem lies with the owner/operator. Pulling a heavey load is tough on any automatic trans. If improperly used, shifted, and maintained, ANY transmission is going to fail early in it's service life. Manual shifting when pulling heavey loads is the ONLY way to go; both up shifting and down shifting. Do not let an automatic trans shift under a severe load by itself. You must learn to use the throttle and the shift lever much like a standard shift if you want the trans to last. You seem to know a lot about Chrysler product yet you never owned one. Hhmmmmmmmmmmm.......... Makes perfect sense to me.
