I recently purchased some land and I'm looking for a tractor to go with it. It's 13 acres, about half rolling pasture. I plan on using it to bushhog a few times a year, pulling a 2 bottom and a disc for food plots and a big garden, and pulling the occasional log. $2k is about my limit, but I would obviously like to spend less. Im not the most mechanically inclined, but I usually fix something after an hour on the net, two trips to NAPA and a bandage on my hand. The Ford N series has my attention for this reason (easy to work on) but they dont have as much power as other options, and no live PTO. I've been researching over running couplers, and they appear to make bush hogging with one less dangerous with a N. Thoughts? Opinions? Recommendations? Thanks in advance!
