How many of you have done some thing when your judgment is impaired with an adult beverage??? LOL

My Uncle was just over visiting and we got to talking about some things that should have killed us both when we where younger.

1) At a bachelor party we decided to just a have a BIG bond fire and camp/lay around enjoying MAN stuff with MANY adult beverages. LOL No worry about drinking and driving. Standing and walking where hard enough. Then we decided we wanted to go down the STEEP hill close by. Just like you would snow sledding. Now this was in July, not much snow. We got a used rear tractor tire and one of us would stand up in it while the rest of us rolled it down the hill. One small problem. NO flat spot at the bottom of the hill. Just a wooded area. So you had to jump out at the right time or you hit a tree. Picture doing this three sheets in the wind and in the dark. LOL. None of us got seriously hurt But there where a few burses that had to be doctored in the wedding pictures. The women folk where NOT too happy with us.

2) NO,,,,,, I had better not talk about that one. My sons read this every now and then. LOL I am not sure the statute of limitations is out on that one yet. This involved a "new" pickup. A real deep mud hole, much speed. LOL It did take six months to get all the mud out of the frame of the truck.

Forgot to add. These happened in the last 15 year. LOL

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
