I have a 1946 farmall A it cranks over but wont start I have fuel going to the carb. it runs on starting fluid but then shuts off after you quit spraying it in there. tractor ran great 4 years ago I've taken the carb apart cleaned it out completely all the ports and jets in the carb and fuel lines are clean and free of debris. when we pull it to start it wants to run but soon as you put the clutch in it quits. i'm completely lost now, it has good spark i've put gas in the spark plug holes and cranked it over and it fired up then died. it has good compression and suction when i pulled the carb off and put my hand over the intake and cranked it over. I also bent the floats up a bit to get more fuel in the bowl of the carb.
