My grandmother passed about a month ago after 91 goods years and 7 days in the hospital after a burst aneurism in her head. While my mother was sitting "guard duty" she had some in depth conversations with her brother. It turns out that this 63 year old veterinarian father of two decided that he has never felt comfortable as a "man" and now wished to become a woman. this being done without the "operation" and continuing "life as usual" otherwise. He has never been the most ambitious person you ever saw, and my brother seems to think that he didn't do enough in life that he conjured up the need to "change teams". This is just the latest in a line of what I perceive to be strange behavior in my family. wondering what any of your reactions would be if you had this happen in your family.
