One of my best friends "came out" two years ago. I have known several gay people before but never one I knew this well. I must say it came as a shock to the system especially when we were competing for the same girl years ago and he won! She turned out to be not much of a prize and he sent her packing. He dated a few more girls but didn't seem to care if they were around. For several years he was difficult to be friends with as his attitude was nearly intolerable, all of a sudden things got better. He came from a good solid family and he has his own herd of dairy cows and does a bit of crop farming. Poor guy is worried about his neighbors finding out and is fearful he will loose his rented land. But still is happier than he ever was and he is still the same person he always was.
I don't agree with his lifestyle but he also likes John Deeres and I don't! lol
