what problems could I face if I dont use the upper attachment. Ive mowed my fields just fine for years with a relatives 6foot brush hog. There fairly flat, so lifting it isnt necessary. My uncle has said that it can bend the frame if I dont use the upper shaft. Ive never had a problem but I dont want to damage someone elses equipment. Is the upper attachment needed.
