Two possibilities exist. Either the clutch pack and brake lack oil pressure, or there is a warped disc/ jammed clutch which does not stop or fully transmit power. It would seem unlikely that the pump would be bad at 2500 hours. If so then the high pressure pump is most likely not working properly either, as they are run in tandem off of the same shaft. Bad bushings in one = bad in both = worn housings and lack of pressure. If the tractor has dual power, the sealing rings could be leaking. Try shifting dual power up or down to see if PTO works. FWD also takes supply from this pump, if it is fitted. I believe that the transmission gets it's pressure lubrication from this pump. Pressure check is in order. *Note If you have dual power, it will quickly wear the clutches from lack of pressure and this is expensive. Rod
