I"m currenty restoring an H, bought it knowing it had an issue in 4th gear, when in 4th and the clutch let out their was no movement or any sign of power being transmitted, but was fine in all other gears. Popped the top off the case this morning expecting to find an obvious gear damaged, very visable, found some with very minor rounding but nothing obvious that would keep it from operating. The shifting forks seem to work perfectly. This isn"t my first Farmall restoration, but it"s my first time into a transmission...anyone have some words of guidance? What am i missing?
