I was out looking for parts yesterday, and stumbled onto what I think is a good buy. It's a New Holland baler. I've slept since then, but I think it was a 273(?) Hayliner. It is at a dealership, but they are just trying to sell it for a good customer of theirs. He is buying a round baler. They don't want to take it in on trade this time of year. (They've had a bad year, and can't tie up any money in it) This baler is like new. The guy that had it, only has 40 acres, and supposedly, the baler has only baled about 4000 bales in it's entire life. It looks like it has been well cared for, and has been kept in a barn. It looks like new. I can buy it for $1500. After I get off work today, I'm going back to get it. What does anyone know about these balers? How good, or bad are they? I already have all my hay work done for the year, so I won't have much chance of trying it out. I have a New Holland disc mower, and a rake. I have no problems with them. The dealer gives great service, and always gets me parts in a big hurry. They sold this baler new, and tell me that it's as good as any used one they've seen in a while. We bale a lot of straw, that we sell to land-scape contractors, and could use another baler at that time of year. Anyone know anything about them? Thanks, John

Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
