I am looking to locate a replacment motor that bolted up to a ITT Marlow irrigation pump . Mine threw a conn. rod and has a unique connection ( a short lip ) where the lower block/oil pan mates with the bellhousing that mates with the pump casing.
The I. D. plate my motor has reads made in the U.S.A. by Ford motor but painted on the valve cover ( most likely by a formar mechanic ) it reads made in England .
If possible I would like to find out what other applications the industrial engine I have was used in so that I could expand my scarch.
I think this is a D-4 ? engine it's a 220 c.i.d. Ford Industrial Engine heavy duty , serial number 541608 - A23KR , Type C3PX- 6006-B , Options S0 00 B
Anyone have any info as to what other uses this engine had besides running a irrigation pump ? I'd like to fin a good used one for replacment or make 1 good one out of 2 engines.
