None that I know of, but I'm hardly an SOS expert. What did the seller say about the tranny before you bought it? Now that the deal is done, maybe you could get some honest answers from him regarding condition of the transmission....assuming he was less than honest before the deal was done (which I can't say for sure). Hopefully you got the tractor cheap enough that you can afford to put an engine in it. Then if the transmission has problems you could spend more to swap to a 4 or 5 speed and still not be hurt too bad. Or you could punt and start taking the tractor apart and sell the good pieces. You might even come out ahead that way.
