Hurley, Jim, Thanks for the info, I need all the help I can get. I did pick up a Primedia manual on both tractors. They too are very helpful, however the manual of the 601 does not show any views of the engine left side. I am missing the manifolds and I have no idea how that side should be. Also can you make a gas engine out of a diesel simply by changing the head and droping the injector system? Is there some reason why there would be water in the gear box oil on the 8N?
