james...that serial number will probably be at the very top of that tag above the steering wheel. it will probably also be prefixed by a couple letters...(ex.) TO-12345. sometimes these tags get painted over and the serial numbers can be hard to see because they are stamped in the tag and get filled with paint. by the way, i'm in west tenn just west of the tenn river...where are you? i know a couple other "fergie guys" in your area, they get on this forum also. let us know what you have. -mike
