Plent of pocket gophers, ground hogs, burrowing rats, and other vermin scurry when I am running the big brush hog or my finishing mower with my 1958 D-17 (no cab). Its dangerous to jump off the tractor and engage the vermin so I have decided to nail the suckers with a 410 from the seat. Anyone mount a gun rack on an antique open tractor before? Something I am going to fab myself? I was looking at a vertical mount on the fender or a across the hood mount in front of the steering whee. Any ideas?
