Thanks for the math, Dean. I hear the beat pulp solution is about the same specific gravity as CaCl and doesn't pose the corrosion problem. I just can't get it where I am. It'd be nice if you could buy it in powder and mix it yourself. As it is, CaCl isn't any disaster if it does leak into the soil. I feed it to my goats occasionally to keep their urinary track clean (a problem with goats.) Basically, it's calcium salt and will become beneficial to the soil once it dissipates to lesser than concentrated levels.
