1) CACl is far less corrosive than many of the chemicals farmers use on their fields. It does not cause leaks. 2) I leave mine in all the time.. no need to remove. 3) No, a water/CACl filled tire rides much smoother than a "dry' tire. 4) The center of gravity does matter. A water/CACl tire is generally filled about 3/4 full; they are never filled all the way. This results in a lower C/G than either a dry tire or wheel weights.
