Painting Tractor - Problem

I am painting my first tractor. I read everything I could before I started. I bought a nice HVLP spray gun. I am using high quality auto paint. The problem is I get what I think is dust in the finish. I don't think it is in the paint since I strain the paint and have filters on the gun. I wipe my parts down with a tack rag before painting. The dust must be in the air when I paint. I am painting in my garage. I try not to stir up the air in the garage before I paint. What else can I do? Other than a few specs of dust the painted finish it looks very good. I am so close and yet so frustrated. Do I need to invest in one of those shop air cleaners? Any and all suggestions would be welcome. I have several tractors to restore so I want to learn how to do right myself. Thanks.
