Try painting outside on the drive way. Start early and finish as quickly as possible before the winds stir up debris and gets it into your paint. one tip I can offer is to keep a roll of tape handy. As you see a bit of dirt, lint, or bug get onto the paint, use a strip of tape with the sticky side out and LIGHTLY touch the offending particle. It should stick to the tape and be easily removed. This trick also works for runs, but don't try to get excited and remove the run with a single small piece of tape. I have used several feet of tape to remove a run before. Saved a lot of sanding and buffing.
