Repair or repalce cracked wheel?????

I have a Farmall 460 with a crack in the rear (cast) wheel, it started at the keyway and has grown to a 7" length. I plan on drilling a small hole ahead of it to try to stop it but I was wondering if anyone out there would think welding it would be practical or should I start looking for a replacement now.
