I got a Hydraulic pump off of a older GMC 5000- 6000 truck which ran off the PTO on the Trany. i want to use it on a garden tractor for portable hydraulic power and need to figuer out the direction of travel. Its off a salavage truck so is not runnable to find out direction of travel.
It also had a frame mounted oil tank i did not take with me, what could i rig up for an easy cheap tank with buying a new one? i do havew a small welder
what size of a tank would i need for a single port valve to run a hydro cylinder?
